Welcome to the Teaching & Professions Website! Our goal is to provide access for students, families and our school community to a wealth of information regarding our programs and services as a community school.
We strive to build and support our students to be global citizens ready to take on the challenges of the 21st century and our ever evolving world. We are a community of life-long learners and committed to providing various instructional and extra-curricular opportunities for our students to develop, craft and hone their skills to be successful beyond high school. We encourage and emphasize their involvement in the school community on all levels. We also pride ourselves in providing a myriad of opportunities and experiences for our families to get involved. We offer a variety of workshops such as nutrition, health and wellness, mindfulness, painting and computer classes.

T&P seeks to achieve our 95% attendance goal by establishing sustainable attendance systems and structures, reinvigorating the Student Success Team meetings, implementing “House” attendance meetings, and creating a culture of “Every Day, Every Period.”
T&P prioritizes the development of its students by increasing the number of students receiving mentoring through programs such as Success Mentoring, Achievement Mentoring and Peer Group Connection. Students receive academic support and college readiness within our AVID classes by focusing on college preparedness through writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization and reading.
T&P creates a network of support and connectivity for parents to engage and be empowered in their children’s education and social emotional development. We strive to create a “family” environment through passionate relationship building and community partnerships.
T&P has been a community school since September 2014 and recently joined forces with Center for Supportive Schools in August of 2019.
We are committed to being an active laboratory for implementing, reflecting upon and refining practices leading to student success and professional growth for all stakeholders in our school community. The reflective and collaborative environment will foster a steadfast focus on caring relationships, high expectations and opportunities for participation and contributions for all members of our school community to ensure positive outcomes.
