At The High School for Teaching and the Professions, we’re excited to launch the Word of the Week (W.O.W.) initiative! Each week, our school community will explore important Tier 2 Regents vocabulary words that appear across subjects and are essential for success in College and Career and the Regents.
Teachers, students, and community members will share and use these words in meaningful ways, helping everyone build stronger connections to academic language. Whether it’s in class discussions, school events, or everyday conversations, each of us will engage with the W.O.W. to grow our vocabulary and strengthen our path to success.
Together, we’re building a culture where words matter and where every member of our community plays a role in helping students master them.
Growing together, One Word, One Community, One Goal!
