What Counts as Community Service?
Approved examples include:
Helping teachers (organizing materials, tutoring, grading, setting up events, bulletin boards, printing, creating posters)

• Setting up or cleaning up after school events
• Cleaning Up classrooms, fixing classroom set ups
• Volunteering at community organizations such as:
• Churches or religious groups
• Libraries
• Parks or community centers
• Local nonprofit events

What Doesn’t Count
Not approved:

• Paid jobs or internships
• Babysitting or family chores
• Club meetings or sports practice (unless you’re helping run the event)
• Attending WIN, Completing HW
• Socializing or hanging out
• Anything not approved by Ms. Romero first”
